  • If you are going to drive it, then check the fluids and check for any fluid leaks (check closely with a flashlight w/ engine running). Also, I'd take it around the block once to make sure that everything works fine, like the gas, brakes, etc. Take it easy and don't push it on the drive, then take it into a shop.
  • 1st check coolant level if it is low this wiil cause problems because there are engine management devices that run coolANT thru them ie iac motor if coolant is low enough this will not operate properlycausing your idling problems
