Born 9th of June 1963. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky. His birth name was John Christopher Depp. Born to mother Betty Sue Wells (waitress) and father John Christopher Depp Sr. (public engineer). He has two sisters (Christie Dembrowski, born in 1961 and Debbie) and one brother (Daniel P. Depp). Started smoking at 12. Got his first guitar at 12. He played in a band called "the Flame" (and than later "the Kidz of Florida" and "Six Gun Method") The Kids opened for popular bands like The Talking Heads and The Pretenders. He lost his virginity to a groupie at 13. He dropped out of high school (Miramar High School) his junior year, a year after his parents got divorced. He lived in a car, worked as a construction worker during the day and played gigs with the Kids at night He wanted to pursue music full-time.
