Well, assuming the interest is only applied once and not on an ongoing monthly basis:
Take 12.0% and change it to a decimal by moving the decimal two spaces to the left. That gives us .12
Now take 740 and multiply it by .12 to determine the interest. That gives us $88.80.
Finally add 88.8 to 740 to get $828.80, your total with interest.
