-
yes, just because its just so stupid, and with everyone trying to be so serious all the time, its an okay release. but hands down there are alot of beter ones
-
Because of how far they push the envelope on certain things....
-
Not anymore. It's so old and boring. The whole stupid fat guy jokes are so old. Why can't they start making American Dad again?
-
Yes I like it. It kind of a dumb program, but when you don't have anything to do, it kills time.
-
most of the time
-
I laugh my ass off.My mother in law watched it once and it was the episode where Peter and Stewie are bonding by trying to kill Lois.Oh My God she couldn't believe it.They are trying to kill her she said...thats not funny at all.Of course that was funny!! Come on, come on.

I LOVE it!!!! It's awesome :)
-
Yes Brian The dog is the best!
-
i really dont see the big deal with that program, the only reason it could be on a par with the simpsons is because the scripts are nearly the same. i find it an unfunny copy of the simpsons. the simpsons will never be beaten!!!
-
Is that the one with the nasty baby & crazy dog? If so, it's way out there, but good for a laugh.
-
It's brilliant, but I guess you have to have that kind of humor. I started with the Simpsons, progressed to Family Guy and now love American Dad. Mind you, I also like Spongebob Square Pants, and i'm 42.

So many reasons...so little time... Here is something that I read a few years ago that sealed the deal for me... From parentstv.org: Family Guy is a raunchy animated series about a blue-collar New England family and is utterly lacking in any redeeming qualities. Although the show is intended to be a satire of the American family, it spends most of its time pushing the limits of decency with heavy sexual innuendo and sexual themes. In one episode, Peter calls his wife a “foul, venereal-disease-carrying, streetwalking, whore” during sex. In another episode the school principal is seen receiving a massage which results in an implied orgasm. Cartoon nudity is common and violence, though animated, is frequent and often brutal. Episodes also frequently employ foul language. Parents of young children are especially cautioned because Family Guy’s animated format is sure to make it attractive to young viewers. Conclusion: Don't let your kids watch...they'll probably ask too many questions anyway and you'll miss all of the good jokes! "It's like she's f*cking 5!"

While some bits annoy me, I like it -- it's pretty funny and something to watch when you're bored. Though I like American Dad a bit more...

I love Family Guy for a couple of reasons. First, the satirical parts of the show DO try to make a point. Second, I live in Rhode Island and trust me...there are people in this state that make Peter Griffin seem intelligent. Scary, huh?
