Why would a husband refuse his wife sex when the reason he had an affair was for sex?

To me it means one of two things 1. He is still haveing sex with someone else or 2. guilt has over come him personaly I would say 1

Could be he doesnt love her anymore,its hard to make love to someone that you have no feelings for.

when a partner cheats they feel a sence of guilt and that can effect the way they treat their wife. loss of passion....love even not attracted or turned on by their wife. wife isnt meeting his sexual needs their loyalty has changes for the other women.... tired from sex with the other women. but i guess mainly its down to his just not that into SEX with his wife nomore....cuz his not into her.

One possiblity could be because she never lets him forget that he cheated on her and she constantly gives him icy glares and dirty looks when it appears he notices an attractive woman. Maybe he just can't go back to having sex with someone else (the wife) because he fell in love with another person and doesn't want to just have mechanical and meaningless sex without the emotional connection. Perhaps the wife has gotten away from the look her husband finds attractive. Maybe she put on a few pounds or cut off her pretty long hair and his willy just doesn't get hard for her. There are probably a million reasons that a husband who cheated won't want to have sex with his wife.. but I can't spend hours to write them all down for you.

I have a question to ask ? My husbond and I are intimate one's a month 2month 3month, or more. He doesn't ALWAYSSSS refuse to have sex with me, but he would rather not have sex with me. The other day I caught him watchig porn at 3:00 am, but I acted as if I didn't see what he was watching. But he knew that I saw him watching porn, and he jumped and was like what are you doing up so late. ( said nothing just want to drink something) He doesn't even sleep with me in the same bed))) He ran to the bathroom, and slept because he was afraid that I would make a scene maybe you know) The next day he came home from work he kissed me so passionate. he asked me constantly why I was sad, he asked me on a date. he even wanted to have sex with me. I said no but he was like I wanted to, I was like ok. he had never made love to me so passionate. can someone explain to me why he did that all.
