Help answer this question below.
The Thighmaster exercises the hip adductor muscles, which pull the lower extremity closer to the body. When performed correctly, these muscles will be strengthened by using this product. For strength gains in healthy adults under the age of 65, the American College of Sports Medicine recommends strength training exercises be performed twice per week, 8 to 12 repetitions per exercise.
A reduction in size of the inner thighs will not be seen by Thighmaster use alone. In order to lose excess weight in any area of the body, a fitness regimen including cardiovascular and strength training exercise is recommended.
If weight loss is desired in the inner thigh area, using the Thighmaster alone will not work. The Thighmaster can be used as part of a regular exercise program to strengthen the hip adductor muscles.
