Blithwapping - Hammering with anything except a hammer.
I loved learning that one because that is what I do when I need to hammer something.
My husband will see me doing it and ask me what I am doing with the pliers (shoe, rock, cooking pot, whatever), I will blithly say I am blithwapping.
He just rolls his eyes, gets a hammer and finishes whatever I was doing.
