  • Hi Tony, Yes, I saw a real angel. We must remember two things. Angels are spiritual beings and normally cannot be perceived with the natural eye. So if angels do not materialize in the form of a human being, it needs you spiritual eye to see them. I saw myself standing in a square room, about 5 meter by 5 meter. On the walls were paintings of erotic subjects. Then I turned to the far corner and saw a door opening. I went to the door and outside I saw this angel more than 3 meters high. He was huge! On my right I saw like a pathway going down and in the distance I saw a red glow and fire and flames. I new it was hell and I deserved it. Then the angel pulled me nearer to him , turned me around with my back against him, his hand on my left shoulder, his right hand pointing upwards. And there to where it was to my left, I saw a mountain, and on the top of the mountain a city, shining like gold. It was so beautiful that I started weeping for longing to that city. I realized that I would strive to be good, not out of fear of hell, but for the love of going to that city! Then everything faded but I was still crying, and still very emotional of the experience.
  • my mom
  • Every time I see my wife.
  • While I'm not very religious, I can cite one example of me feeling the presence of something angelic. I suffered a bad fall some years back, I broke both ankles while rock climbing with a friend. I ended up laying on the rocks near a river in the hot sun, my friend had to go and get help. When he came back with help, they lifted me and carried up to the top of the hill near a park. They set me down and left me to go get the car. A jogger saw me moaning in a pile on the ground. She knelt down and softly started brushing the sand off my face and arms. She asked me what happened and if I was okay. I can't remember her face, or anything about her. My eyes were mostly closed, but when I looked up at her, I remember seeing the bright sunny day, and her in a silhouette. I never got a chance to thank her, but I still sort of consider her my guardian angel.

  • I was living with my parents at the time and I was 20 years old. My mother worked nights and her bed was very comfortable so sometimes I slept in her bed while she was at work. I went to lay down and got comfortable then I had to pee. I was aggrivated because I had just got comfy. My father slept in the living room and he kept a kitchen light on all night. The light illuminated the hallway into my mom's room. I had my eyes open wide awake just laying there thinking about getting up to the bathroom when I seen that the illumination dissappeared as a person walked through it. I looked to the left of the bed and seen a shadow walking beside the bed. I thought it was my older brother who was home from the military and needed to use my mom's bathroom. So I followed the shadow with my eyes toward the bathroom door and then I lost sight of it. I waited for the bathroom light to come on but it never did. When I looked at the foot of the bed I saw it standing there looking at me. I seen it so clearly I was able to make out the outline of the arms hands and even the knuckles of the hands. It slowely rose from the floor and disappeared into the cieling. I sat up out of bed turned the light on and prayed. I slept with the light on all night. I actually don't know if it was an angel but it was something spiritual. My oldest brother had died in a car wreck years before and my mom thinks it was him watching over me. I have never seen anything like that since. I believe that around that time in my life I was living very sinful and since then it has only strengthened my relationship with our Lord God. -Scott
  • Human ones and those in dreams.
  • I have never seen a angel but i have felt the presence and moreover i believes that angels does means with wings it can comes in form of a person and give message ,guidence and help.
  • The Bible says that sometimes we can see angels and not beware that they are. So, I believe that God had brought some angels to protect me at many vulnerable times in my life.
  • Not to the best of my knowledge. St. Augustine says: "'Angel' is the name of their office, not of their nature. If you seek the name of their nature, it is ‘spirit'; if you seek the name of their office, it is ‘angel': from what they are, ‘spirit,' from what they do, ‘angel.'" With their whole beings the angels are servants and messengers of God. Because they "always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven" they are the "mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word." As purely spiritual creatures angels have intelligence and will: they are personal and immortal creatures, surpassing in perfection all visible creatures, as the splendor of their glory bears witness. From the Incarnation to the Ascension, the life of the Word incarnate is surrounded by the adoration and service of angels. When God "brings the firstborn into the world, he says: ‘Let all God's angels worship him.'" (Heb 1:6) Their song of praise at the birth of Christ has not ceased resounding in the Church's praise: "Glory to God in the highest!" (Lk 2:14) They protect Jesus in his infancy, serve him in the desert, strengthen him in his agony in the garden, when he could have been saved by them from the hands of his enemies as Israel had been. (Cf. Mt 1:20; 2:13, 19; 4:11; 26:53; Mk 1:13; Lk 22:43; 2 Macc 10:29-30; 11:8) Again, it is the angels who "evangelize" by proclaiming the Good News of Christ's Incarnation and Resurrection. (Cf. Lk 2:8-14; Mk 16:5-7) They will be present at Christ's return, which they will announce, to serve at his judgment. (Cf. Acts 1:10-11; Mt 13:41; 24:31; Lk 12:8-9) For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 328 and following: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt1art1p5.shtml#328 With love in Christ.
