I have a Dell Inspiron notebook 1501that has a "Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card" and I am trying to connect it to my wireless G router and I can't. the Wi-Fi light on my laptop is on but when I go to see the availiable networks there are none?

    Turn the wireless card off, log out, turn it back on, then try again. Sometimes the digital on/off switch doesn't work.
