You're reading I have these rules I live by: 1. Don't be a home wrecker 2. Don't date your EX's Best friend & 3. Don't date your Best friends EX. I meet this guy, his Girlfriend became my BEST friend.Then they broke up. I really like him & he likes me too.What do I do?

Oy, the classic dilemma. I guess it would depend on why they broke up? If they simply weren't right for each other, then it shouldn't be a problem. It will no doubt be a little awkward at first, but if you're all mature about it then it will become easier. It might be best to hold off for a bit, feel it out and then decide. I've been in this situation myself and it does get dicey; however, as Seraphim said, it's not worth losing a friendship over.
