Help answer this question below.
So, you're in the market for a new computer and wondering which kind of processor you should acquire. Your decision starts with the following question: What is important to you? If your criteria are speed and power, then you want an Intel processor. Intel's dual and multi-core processors remain the leader in speed and performance. However, they do also require more power. But if your computer usage involves a lot of multi-tasking (or gaming) then you probably want to go with Intel. That's not to dismiss AMD processors. AMD offers a fine line of processors with an emphasis on being energy efficient. And therein lies the difference, if your priority is energy efficiency and you don't mind waiting a little longer for your programs to run, then you definitely will favor AMD. Ultimately, the better processor depends on your definition. If better means faster performance, with a greater demand for power, then its Intel. However, if it's energy efficiency, with a slower response time, then it's AMD. As long as it's right for you, then it's the better choice. On One Hand: First, There is Intel.
On the Other: And Then There is AMD.
