Does the use of an IUD increase a woman's desire to have sex?

    Doubt it... If it does, it would depend on which kind of IUD you have. The hormonal one (under the name Mirena) *may* affect (decrease) a woman's sex drive, because hormones (mainly birth control pills) have been reported to do that. I doubt it though, as the hormone absorption in the case of an IUD is local compared to systemic with birth control pills.
    The copper IUD contains no components that would affect a woman's sex drive.

    Probably not. The uterus is not designed to be sexually stimulated.
