    I am just in the process of doing that now. There are two screws holding in the lower plastic plate around the lighter/cup holder assembly. Remove these two screws and pull the plastic frame straight out. You cam also remove the lower coin tray and there are 4 screws holding in the cup holder assembly. Once there are all out you can find the lighter part and unplug it from the wiring. Replace it and put it all back together.
