I really like this boy and he means everything to me. every time he comes to me my heart beats faster. but hes my best friend. everyone says he likes me but how would i really know? help

    Ask him. Yeah it will be awkward if he says no but you will get over the awkwardness of it. But on the plus side, if he says yes then...well it's self explanatory.

    Shame, I know how you feel! If he is your best friend you must be able to talk about your true feelings...so go and tell him that he makes your heart beat faster...just be honest about it. Maybe it can be the start of something very special!

    Just ask him. Nothing else ever works. You just end up confusing yourself and overcomplicating things when you beat around the bush. If he says no, then that's it. It's not that bad, so don't be afraid.

    Talk to him about it. But make sure you know what your risking. If you do have a falling out you could loose your friendship, BUT if you find out he likes you too, then you might get a great relationship. It depends on what you want to risk.

    i know that the overwhelming majority has said to ask him, but think first. this situation happened to me a few months back, she said no, and we're not friends anymore. it just doesn't work.
