  • take 2 "EB Games" and have them check it out
  • It is your Xbox 360. Call 1-800-4-MY -XBOX and explain to them the problem. You will most likely need to return it for repair. It is a covered cost by Microsoft.
  • I had the same problem. I tried all sorts of discs and nothing would work. Then I did this, and it worked fine afterwards. All I did was open the disc tray, take out the disc, and close the tray with nothing in it. I waited for it to say eject, then ejected, put the disc in, closed it, and it ran fine.
  • This has happened to me not once, but with TWO different xboxes. I don't know what triggers it to happen, but it can't be fixed and doesn't go away. You'll have to call the Xbox support number and go through a tedious 45-minute process, at the end of which they will hopefully send you an exmpty box for you to mail back with your 360 in it. It takes a long time (mine took almost a month) but when it gets back it will either be repaired or a brand new xbox (they tell you to save your hard drive just in case). The support number is 1-800-469-9269 (4MY-XBOX)
  • So, what's the question?
  • i kno it sounds crazy but wenever this happened to me i shut off my 360 and turned it on USING THE CONTROLLER and held tha "A" button as the X for the beginning came up. hope his helps TRUST ME TRY IT
  • If you are still having problems call 1-800-4MY-XBOX
  • Contact Microsoft.
  • ok ik it sounnds stupid but i tried this guys idea turning the xbox on and holding a with the control and it worked!!! so that to me sounds like a good solution
  • Just over 4 months old and my console already has this fault WTF. I tried every disc I own including 4 brand new ones and still no joy. After only 10 mins on the phone with Microsoft (1800 555 741) it was advised that it is definitely a problem with the hardware and you will need to return it to them for repairs. They send you mailing labels with instructions for you to pack it into your own plain cardboard box and drop off to your local post office. Wait time unknown at this point as I have just been on the phone to them. GRRRR NOT HAPPY!
  • I called microsoft and they told me i need to pay 100.00 for the repair so it isnt covered.
  • As I will not read books.
  • Throw your xbox at a tree out of a moving car. Sony has sucked for their whole existence, and microsoft is gay! Sit tight while someone out there attempts to create a good game system that actually works longer than 6 months. I wish PS2 and xbox would figure out some sh*t! Last time either of those bastards get a penny from me!!!!!
  • My answer buy a gun find microsoft xbox 360 divison and cap there ass
  • thanks billyd282. that worked for me. :-) i love you!!!
  • Maybe the disc is scracted or dirty.
  • That happened to me too but I fixed it, just turn on the xbox and open the disk tray, leave it open for like 20 mins and then go back, stick in a game and it should work :D
  • It happend to me so I got a PS3, problem solved.
  • well actually this jus happened to me. and ppl i swear to u this worked, turn on you console while holding down the "A" button with no game in the tray will eventually open jus dont let off the "A" button when it does open then let off the "A" button and insert ur game and close ur disc tray.
  • THIS IS THE 3RD TIME MY 360 HAS MALFUNCTIONED AND ITS DEFINATELY GETTING ON MY FUCKING NERVES SONS OF BITCHES!!!!!!
