I have a 52inch sony projection screen tv that wouldn't turn on. It was about a year and a half old. I got a new lamp for it and it worked. Although it works my new problem , was that there is pink like dots in the picture when the backgro

you have dirt either on your bulb or on part of the projection area. you need to have it professionally cleaned.
