this shows how perfect the formulaes are, and also that he was so ahead of his time. agree/have different view?
People have added lots more on top of Newton's analysis. In fact, Newton and Leibnitz both invented calculus about the same time, and Leibnitz' representation was rather clearer than Newton's, so that is what we use now.
Newton was a great man, but the fact that Leibnitz came across the same thing at the same time, so he was not "ahead of his time", just one of the great minds *of* his time. And in mathematics, something is either right or wrong; you cannot improve a formula, you can only discover another one.
Well, old Isaac claimed to be first but Leibniz beat him to the publishing punt.
Isaac spent several years attempting to belittle Leibniz but to no avail, except to the reputation of Newton.
Leibniz's calculus, developed independently from Newton was more advanced as it had differential equations.
While Newton is used for generalized calculations regarding orbiting masses, if we want truly accurate calculations we must use Einstein.
Reason, the difference between a perfect circle and an elliptic. lol
The calculus course we study in college was put into its present two-year form by Euler.
The problem with Newton:
He fudged a lot of his figures.
