Given all of Palin's other shortcomings, I cannot see how this is even worth noticing.

    Get a F*****G GRIP, people!

Maybe she made a last minute change or addition, and scribbled it on her hand as a reminder. I don't really see why this is a big deal I guess?

Let's see, you want to criticize Palen for scribbling a few notes on her hand to help here with a speech. If you think that that is worth criticizing, then what do you think of the fact that Obama can't seem to give a decent speech without have a teleprompter to feed him every single word?

You know, I keep hearing people praise Obama for how great a speaker he is. Well, as a professional educator, I make my living by speaking to people. To be quite honest, from what I have seen of Obama's technique, I am not impressed. He spends his time in front of an audience with his head bobbing back and forth between his teleprompter screens as he merely reads the speech. He doesn't look at his audience.

Palin, on the other hand, knows how to actually give a speech. Yes she has notes on the lectern which she glances down at to keep herself on topic, but she doesn't just stand there and read them. She actually looks out at the audience. You may or may not agree with her message or the way she phrases it, but at least she is actually speaking to her audience rather than merely reading to them.

As for having something written on her hand, so what? Can you say "petty," boys and girls? Yes, she had something written on her hand. Just what I can't tell from the video that I watched, but it certainly wasn't a significant portion of her speech. To criticize her for this shows how shallow her critics are and how far they will go in their attempts to tear her down. A debate over the ideas that she espouses or the policies that she supports would be legitimate. However, getting upset over the fact that she had something written on her hand is really rather small-minded.

Who cares? You have never given a long speech to the public without some sort of notes handy?
This is another non-issue the News is using to get your attention.

Crib notes. She probably did that in school and in a pinch reverts to type. Her worshippers love her no matter what and the rest of us can go fly a kite I'm sure. Happy Tuesday to you! :)
