I own 54 watches, and only two are digital. I have one watch that has only an hour hand. The first watches ever made before 1500 were like that. My next simplest watches have only hour and minute hands, e.g. today, I wear a Cartier "Santos Dumont" of that type. Others have second hands, some have date windows. One is a Rolex "Day-Date". I also have chronographs with stopwatches, watches with two time zones and three with alarms. Two have month and moonphase.
