    The new show that has just come out, Dragonball Kai, is basically DBZ but without the fillers and with better looking animation - nothing but the intro and credits are redrawn though. Things will flow much quicker in that series. :)

    It's a show designed for the 5-11 male age group, what do you expect? They'd watch anything as long as it led to a fighting scene eventually.

    Because they needed to waste time while the manga was written, sort of like Inuyasha. Except instead of making loads of crap fillers, they just made the characters take ages to power up, gave them extended monologues, etc.
