The 6 years was the age when it was sold and, yes, it is still good.
Yes, it's still good to drink. However, it may not be worth much because Canadian whiskies are not really sought after by collectors unless they are extraordinarily special, which a 6-year-old Canadian Club whisky is not (it's the most common Candian whisky). It may have some sentimental or decorative value, but not much. It would be worth most as a gift to a friend.
By the way, whisky does not age in the bottle. It's going to taste more or less the same as it did on the day it was bought.
How can it be 6 years old AND from 1942?
safe to drink and worth a cupple hunded to 2 grand if sold to the right person weight 30 more years and it will be worth a cupple thousand dollars becuse of 100 years aged
