Help answer this question below.

My playstation 2 disc is scratched and also stops at a particular place. so how can i fix it with household things.I want all the information you have and the game is 'FIFA 07'. it always stops at the part when the game starts and shows 'FIFA 07'

Im having trouble with my Scarface playstation 2 game disc now i don't know if it's the scratches on the disc anyway i was playing the game fine and all this sudden i press start on my playstation 2 remote and it frezzed so i restarted the system and it keeps on doing the same problem what should i do i washed it a lot of times and kept on the the same thing so now what should i do
