A service adviser translates a customer's concern with a vehicle into a repair order that a service technician will later complete. The service adviser must listen to the customer's description of any undesirable noises or problems with performance and write up these concerns clearly and concisely. The service adviser then communicates with the customer upon diagnosis and repair of the vehicle.
