WellCare, in business for more than 20 years, is an approved Medicare Part D prescription drug plan administrator located in Harrisburg, Pa. The WellCare Prescription Drug Plan says it saves you 42 percent off your prescription drug costs.
Plans
The plans are Signature and Classic and may vary by state. The Signature plan pays no deductible and no copay. The Classic plan requires that the patient pay a $3 or $5 copay.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, you must be eligible for Medicare Part A or enrolled in Medicare Part B and live in the service area of the plan.
Pharmacy List
The pharmacy list tells you which pharmacies are participating in the prescription drug plan.
Drug List
The drug list may be searched by name of the medication. Alternatives are suggested if the medication is not available. Rules and guidelines of the prescription drug program are posted on the drug list page.
Extra Help
It is possible to get extra help to pay for your prescriptions. Your letter of coverage specifies that your income is level one, two, three or four. Graduated by level, you pay no copay, a small copay or you get an additional 15 percent off.
