Are there any MP3 players that come with a program to convert alternate file formats (.wav, CD audio, etc.) to .mp3 files?

    The iPod comes to mind here. iTunes can import just about any audio format.

    I'm nost really sure. But there is a program called the Musicmatch Jukebox which you can download for free at its website. And it allows you to convert music files from one to another.
