  • Are we doing your homework for you if we answer this?
  • I'll guess C. ribosomes [unless this is a trick question]
  • (c) ribosomes. And stop asking us to do you're homework. This is answerbag not a cheat sheet.
  • Hmmm. Is it a stained specimen? Do the ribosomes exist in a free or membrane-bound state? Reasoning this out: A) Even the smallest bacteria can be seen at a mere 100x magnification. (They are not, however, visible in bright field microscopes, though.) B) The largest internal component of the cell should be visible. C) Found within the cell membrane, free or membrane-bound. D) If you could not see the cell membrane, you certainly couldn't see the ribosomes within it. It would stand to reason then, that you can rule out A and B, and if you couldn't see D, you wouldn't be able to see C AND D, so it must be C ribosomes.
