Each kombucha culture may take a different amount of time to ferment, so rather than adhere to a set time period, allow your kombucha to ferment until just after the liquid no longer tastes sweet. Don't allow the beverage to continue fermenting after it reaches this point, as it may develop a sour, vinegary flavor.
