IF you want to learn about the Catholic church and are considering becoming one...Most importantly the Bible and the Catechism...also read these: http://www.chnetwork.org/scotthconv.htm http://www.star.ucl.ac.uk/~vgg/rc/aplgtc http://www.star.ucl.ac.uk/~vgg/rc/aplgtc... they are really easy to read and understand...also "Unabridged Christianity" can be very helpful in exlaining the faith. God Bless!

I would definately not recomend reading the bible if you want to become a catholic......Just because if you do become a catholic you will find that they practice man made traditions that are not at all backed up by the word of God......If you read the bible and become a catholic....I assure you....you will become very dissapointed. I dont know why a catholic would read the bible anyway....they sure dont follow what it says.

Go to a Catholic church and observe the way they do the mass. After the service, the priest will be at the door shaking hands with people. Don't be shy to approach him and ask him if you could talk to him. I can assure you that he will give you of his attention. Tell him about your desire to become a Catholic. May the good Lord will bless you and help you with your journey.

trustword, that is, as always, ignorance of the catholic haters. i grew up going to catholic school and my son is in 10th grade - Catholic high school. that is all they do in religion class, study the bible. So all you Catholic bashers, find a new one. it's old, and shows your lack of knowledge.

The bible. It's the greatest book the Catholic Church has ever put together!
