iPods have changed the way we listen to music. They keep our favorite music, pictures, at our finger tips, while always advancing the technology of personal, portable, education. The iPod Touch is Apple's first fully touch-screen iPod. In this article, you will learn how to rearrange the icons on your iPod's home screen, to make it work more efficiently for you.
Operating System
Home Screen customization is only available on operating systems starting with the 1.1.3 upgrade. Plug your iPod into your computer; if you don't have the latest operating system, iTunes will prompt you to upgrade.
Customize
Once the update is installed, you are free to customize the icons of the home page any way you like. To move them, first hold your finger down on the icon until all the icons begin to shake.
Move
Now move the icon to wherever you want on the homepage, or any of the subsequent pages. To move to another page, drag the icon to the extreme left or right side of the screen.
Complete
When you have the icon where you want it, simply tap the screen again, and the icons will settle.
