Extremely powerful. Particularly in a system that seems to have elections. The average person readily believes whatever is presented in the mass media, and the more times it is presented to them the easier it is to believe.

The most powerful propaganda of all is that which is not recognized as propaganda, but simply accepted as truth without consulting other sources. Particularly that which claims that anyone who says otherwise is crazy or evil.

There is no knowledge that is so dangerous in itself that you should not experience it yourself; it is either true or untrue, and the truth will set you free. Read everything you can, from every source available, and decide for yourself.

It becomes more powerful as it grows more discreet and manipulative. When people want to do something themselves, you don't have to constantly tell them to do it.

Everyone who reads this is locked in a cycle of propaganda and social control and you do not even know it!

Its called Hegelian Dialectic. It is a Marxist form of social control, and has been employed here for many years.

If you want to solve a problem, then call it the Synthesis.

Next, create a problem, and call it the Thesis.

Once the problem creates the expected reaction, the Antithesis, then the Synthisis can be applied to achieve a solution to the problem.

    Thesis + Antithesis = Synthesis

For example, Lets say you want to go to war with a particular group, but do not have public support. All you have to do is stage an event, like an attack on your populace, and blame the group you want to go to war with. (usually called a False Flag Operation)

The reaction to the event will be increased support for a war to "punish" the "evil" group. Hence you go to war, just like you wanted in the first place.

    Problem, Reaction, Solution

For examples, google "Gulf of Tonkin", "U.S.S. Liberty", or "Reichstag Building".

Can you say 9/11 and War on Terror anyone?
