    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Most boronia flowers come from southwestern Australia, including the famously fragrant Boronia megastigma. Perfume writer Mandy Aftel calls the flowers' lemon-rose scent "as close to heaven as we on earth are likely to get." Boronia heterophylla is the most popular cut flower of the boronia family and grows in both southwestern and southeastern Australia.

Check this info out from Australia... good info on boronia... didn't see any of these in New Zealand, did see some similar ones in Auckland in a Botanic Garden dedicated to Australia, but not sure it was the same flower, did see also many similar looking florals in NZ... they have fabulous flowers in this part of the world wonderful for photographing! Many of them have very strong fragrance very different from those you may be used to in the USA or N Hemisphere. Hope this is helpful. Cheers
