No, you have to get over the first before you move on.
-
Absolutely not, you can easily sabotage the new one dwelling on the old one. You have to be happy with yourself before being with someone else.
-
Be careful that can be a part of rebound measures - Work on yourself before trying to jump into another relationship
-
No, because I think then you are dating someone for the wrong reason and it doesn't ever seem to end well or last long if you are dating someone for a reason other than actually liking them.
-
put it this way. It may take some time to get over lost love but going out with new people sure takes the sting out things. You don't have to enter into another 'big' relationship, keep it casual instead and just enjoy 'dates' for what they are (a night out, a reason to dress up - which makes you feel better anyway) and new company).

No...you need to be by yourself and listen to the beat of your own heart for a while and figure out what's best for you. For me, deciding to be alone for 1 yr. was the best decision I ever made.

No, as that person really just becomes a "rebound person" and if you really like the person, it seems you have to restart a relationship if you were using them to try to get over the last person.

Its not the best way, its possibly the worst way. But it may be a way for you to finally know that you have gotten over someone.
