Help answer this question below.

Without questions, there would be nothing to answer nor to moderate. So why are questions worth less pointwise than moderating?

    I guess they didn't want to make them ONE point, too, as they did the LIKES.

    I think they saw that the range (+1-+6) for each rating for a question or answer was relatively easy to convert to single LIKES (I don't know who easy it could be, but...). And they may have thought that more people would be upset if they dropped the absolute 5 points they earned (before) for moderating to 1, so they gave it 3.

    I understand your question, though. As some have said, it's quite possible that this will become "ModerationBag".
