Although I'm not interested in more government interference, and I don't want to burden the cops or turn citizens into judges, on the local level I'd be interested in misdemeanor tickets given for lack of common sense, wasted brain cells, teaching children ignorance, and furthering social ills. If stupidity were illegal...

Yeah, a law that repealed the war on drugs or at least something like the revamping of the system like the revamping going in Britain

I have a sort of "class" of laws that I'd like to see enacted to promote more rational social behavior. For example, any athlete about to sign a contract of $1 million or more would be required by law to spend 2 weeks working at a McJob and getting McPay. Hopefully, that would deter him (usually a him) from making stupid offensive statements like "$9 million per year is an insult. I've got a family to feed". Or, anyone wishing to purchase a gun would have to spend 1 week of evenings observing an inner-city hospital trauma ward and the terrible devistation that gunshot wounds can produce. Or, any person who wishes to be elected President and exercise the constitutional power of Commander-in-Chief should have to have actually done some military training/service, not spent his military service years boozing and snorting coke while AWOL....;-D.. Sorry, I got a little carried away there, but you get the idea...
