Most of us aren't reaching our full potential because we are willing to settle for less out of fear of failure.

I would have to say in my opinion that it means that when we reach high for something and we fail we still attempted to take ourselves beyond our abilities and pushed further in attempting to accomplish something obviously greater then ourselves, and although you fail you still gained the respect, and learned the lessons that come with the challenge, whereas is you aim low and you accomplish small things you have never risked at life, you have taken it easy and you will have lived a normal, and safe life which would be a danger for you have not given you most
