If I thought there was a high chance I'd need it, then yes I'd make one. But right now I don't think there is a real need. At some point I believe we'll need some sort of shelters, due to war, but I'm not sure whether they'll need to be shelters against bombs or biological warfare.

No and I hope not.
-
Yes - If I could afford it - They may be needed - Weather for one
-
Yeah I would if I wouldn't hit water here in FL.
-
In both cases, nah. November Alpha Hutcheson!
-
If I lived in Tornado alley or a hurricane area I'd consider it.
-
depends on the place you're living at
-
Probably not, but I'm sure it will be needed sooner rather than later.

I believe the squirrels with the garden gnome allies are en route to taking over the world, so yes, i'm in the process of building one =)

I've not had the bucks to build an underground shelter, but I take some basic precautions: 2-week food supply, plenty of bottled water, a supply of gasoline, etc.

I have a spot in my basement that is good for tornados. As far as war goes, if it ever gets to the point that some kind of shelter is required my thought is it will be a nuclear event. In that case it is the end, and we will all end up dead anyway. If the nukes come I want a front row seat so I will be gone in the first millisecond.

I love in Tornado alley, we have one pass by here about once a week, LOL, and I have used it quite often.

If I lived in "Tornado Alley", I would in a heartbeat. A bomb shelter, NO. I grew up in the 1950's and 60's when we hid under our desks in school for atomic bomb drills. An above ground emergency kit in case of an earthquake or natural disaster is all I think my family needs.

I've got one now for when my brother farts.
