People who don't get the message aren't really listening. First you have to get their attention. Make eye contact. Say: "You seem to be interested in me." They are likely to hear this as an invitation to come on stronger. At that moment you have their attention. Then say, "I am not at all attracted to you and nothing is likely to change that. Sorry but leave me alone." Remember that if alcohol is involved or they are sneaky about their flirting, they still may not be able to hear you and you may need to repeat the above louder, in front of other people, and often.

Try once more. Then if that doesn't work, tell them you have just recorded them and since they are hard of hearing, you will explain it to their spouse so that person can explain it best to them.
