My laptop's screen is so dark I can barely see it. How do I fix this or is my screen broken?

    Do you have a button that says fn? Press it and use the button that has a sun on it (f8?) to adjust brightness.

    Sounds like your light invertor needs to be replaced.

    go to the control panel power options and turn it to high performance and turn the brightness up---
