I have a light controlled by a single switch, but it's wired as a 3-way switch. How?
I went to replace the light switch in my den and had bought a standard 2-way switch to do so, but when I pulled the current switch, I found it to be a 3-way switch and wired as such. I've searched the bookcases and all the walls and I can't find another switch anywhere that works this light, so how is it wired as a 3-way? I tried to wire it with the 2-way thinking there used to be another switch that was removed, but it does not work.
