A partially-sighted learner driver says he's determined to pass his test - despite concern from local residents. “Just last month he mounted a kerb that was three or four foot wide and hit a fence.” Political correctness gone mad or is it his right?

    While he has a right to learn what he desires, he should also recognize the fact that he can potentially hurt or even kill someone if continues to pursue his intention.

    If I was him, I will put safety for others above anything else.

    I would say political correctness gone mad. Peoples rights to do things must be balanced with the rights of others to be able to drive in a safe (ish) environment.
