I cant stand the yankees cause they had to much money invested in them.

I have nothing against them. They are a sports team that has nearly dominated major league baseball in the last fifty years, since I am not a major league baseball player then I could care less.

I hate them damn yankees and I'll always have this opinion of them no matter how bad they get oh wait nm that probably will never happen due to the fact Steinbrenner would have an aneurysm if this were the case.

No I am not a fan and no I do not hate nor love them. I am indifferent to the Yankees. I do root for any team that plays against them though.

I love the Bronx Bombers. The only team in MLB with a stadium that has a Memorial Park and daily tours. Lots of history and heritage. Only stadium in MLB that is -always- inaugurated by the Popes. Will see the Pope next year to do it. You will be part of history. Much more.......... My 2 cents.

I love the New York Yankees. I truly feel that baseball is steeped in the heart and soul of American culture. I am watching Boston and the O's right now, in fact. It is summer time, and it says Fourth of July as much as fireworks and a hot dog BBQ. Why the Yankees? Why not any other team? Because many of the greatest athletes -- true legends -- have worn those white and blue stripes. Because the saga of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris changed baseball. The movie *61 was incredible. The quotable Yogi Bera. The Yankees get criticized for being wealthier, bigger, and all. I say, they are what they are. They are a force to be reckoned with - a true legend with so many known greats in this culture. I grew up watching the Yankees play and win amazing World Series. I remember seeing Wade Boggs on a camel after one such win. I had a poster of Paul O'Neil hanging in my bedroom wall as a teenager. I know the underlying temptation to root for the underdog, and I understand. But the Yankees are always... THE Yankees.

The Yankees are the best. I like them because I grew up near New York and went a lot of their games. My dad had season tickets.

I love the Yankees, they are my home team, I grew up watching them, and hearing about them. They are one of the best all time teams, with more history than most teams, they have provided many greats. I need not mention names, you know who they were...
