Although the medical benefits of apple cider vinegar in relation to cholesterol are not scientifically proven, there is abundant anecdotal evidence indicating its effectiveness. The vinegar contains pectin, a water-soluble fiber that helps in regulating blood pressure and reducing LDL (bad cholesterol). It also contains amino acids, which may be able to neutralize LDL.
