When I was 19 I lived 120 miles from there so we would go all the time. I went to shows rode rides played games in the arcade. everything but gamble and drink was not old enugh

I've been there a few times. I did a little gambling. Mostly we walked around and took in the sights. And believe me, there were a lot of "sights" that weren't marked on any brochures! Overall, I would have to say I'm not really interested in going again. If I do again, I WON'T be taking my kids.

Yes I lived and worked in Vegas for a while. The shows are great. I was actually still there when Tina Turner made her last show. It was costing $500 to get standing space. No I did not see her although i would have loved to have been able to say i had.. The Casinos are fine and the hotels are incredible. Some new ones have been built since i was last there. I think Aladdin was the latest new one when I left. I loved the show at the Flamingo Le Cage, it is a drag show but one like you have never seen anywhere else in the world. Fantastic talent There are many museums of stars and Madame Tussauds (not as good as London)The Libarace museum was really interesting. Strange most of the time I lived there I did not like it , it is very noisy, but for a holiday looking back it is a pretty good place

5 times. The most important lesson learned is that those *free* drinks can be very expensive.

Went to all the hotels on the strip. Went to the grand canyon. Walk the strip drinking beer just because you can! Got Elvis sunglasses. Saw some shows, no one big but still great fun!

I have been there several times and stayed at the Mirage Hotel/Casino. I gambled, had breakfast in bed, saw some shows, gambled, went to exclusive shops and fantastic coffee houses, and gambled some more!

Yes. Second marriage was there. We gambled (won alittle) ate, drank, and gambled some more. Lot's of fun!

I've been to Vegas about 10 times. Once for fun, the rest for work. The fun trip was to renew my wedding vows with Elvis at the Graceland Chapel. The rest were either for computer installs or training. I really can't stand most of Vegas. Get outside of Vegas, and there are some nice areas.

Yes. Too many times. Once for fun and many times for work. Go there once for a few days, then never go back. Best place I've found there is a Tapas place called the Firefly on Paradise down by the Hilton Convention center. Great food! The strip is interesting to walk around and it will take a good two days to walk it and take it all in, but after two days, done. Too many people packed in, all glossy eyed, drunk, and being stereotypical American tourists or party people that are trying to hard to party. It is interesting to watch people there. If I never go there again I will be happy.

Yes, thank you. I was there in it's heyday back in the 60s and I've been through it 4-5 times in the last 8 years. Don't care to go again. The drivers are insane and the crowds are maddening. Give me the wilderness instead.

I went on vacation a few years ago. It was a pretty surreal place to see. Simultaneously everything that's amazing and everything that's wrong with America. I had fun but spent way too much money (didn't even gamble much) and it was really, REALLY hot.

Yes, I have been many times. It's not really my favorite place to visit, but they have some fantastic exotic fabric shops, and a couple of unique art shops.
