Help answer this question below.

I got my tongue pierced about a month ago, my tongue looks and feels pretty healthy, but on the bottom of my tongue around the barbell there is some raised skin, kind of like scar tissue, should i be concerned?

    it is scar tissure i had the same thing.. is it like a bubble almost right near the percing hole? and is it the color of your tongue? if yea then u have nothin to worry abouti freaked out too when this happenend to me but it went away after like 3 weeks :)

    Perhaps your jewelry is too short, and the end is sinking into the hole. See your piercer and ask if you need a jewelry change.

    i also had my tongue pierced about a month ago and i have the same thing, its like a fleshy ball of skin, its not painful, but i hope it goes away x

    Try tea tree oil on it to dry out the skin. If that doesn't work, get a larger nose ring.
