concrete walls are the best walls to fasten to ,and you would be hard pressed to destroy a concrete wall . buy some thin angle at home depot and fasten them to the wall using plastic plugs turning the angles inward so one leg of the angle is behind the head board and the other 90's out along side the head board and then fasten to the head board . youll need a drill preferably a hammer drill but for a couple holes you can get away with a reg. drill and a masonry bit 1/4'' . measure the width of the head board and install the angles first on the wall .

It probably only has one bolt on each side of the headboard connecting it to the frame. Put a second bolt (there is generally space for two bolts) on each side to stabilize it.

Maybe the best thing to do would be to remove the headboard until you can find one that stays in place like it should. At least you could sleep in your bed without worrying about the headboard hitting you in the head. If you don't need it to hold the frame together. Take it off and enjoy sleeping again. I wish you the best. :-)

I have already tightened thew headboard and it still keeps tilting. I have bought a new frame for the bed and it still didn't fix it. I have quit sleeping in my bed because of this problem. I toss and turn all night already, now I feel like I am being suffocated because the headboard keeps falling in. Please help. I have even considered bolting the headboard to the wall, but I have concrete walls and fear I will destroy the wall.
