No, spring snows don't last long and provide good groundwater recharge, as the runoff is slow and most of the snow percolates into the soil.

yes yes yes it does! i don't do well with cold weather and when my nice warm spring is interrupted by a cold snap its even worse :(

I was just thinking last night that if it was nice out I would have dropped of my netflix dvd, but I didn't feel like putting on my coat and gloves, when only 2 weeks ago I could have run out in shorts! Enough with the snow already!

No way, I love it, especially after it's already been warm and it's a surprise to have snow again. It's like my last breath of fresh air before it gets hot and yucky.
