  • In Jojo's Fashion Show 2, designer Jojo Cruz has come out of retirement and, with the help of her daughter Ros, is rebuilding her fashion line. Players help Jojo and Ros achieve their goal by building outfits for runway shows. The better the outfit, the higher the points. Jojo's Fashion Show 2 is easy and fun but, as with any game, there are little tricks that can help you get the best score.

Review the Style Cards Before the Show

As with a real runway show, you only have a few seconds to get your model dressed. Each runway show has a specific theme, like conservative/provocative, will show you a card with types of tops, bottoms and footwear that goes with each style. The style name also appears above each model's head, during the runway show, and you have to dress each model in that style. You can click on the style name to review, but that eats up time. It is better to review the styles, off the clock, before the runway starts.

    Keep the Sound On

You can turn down the music but keep the sound effects track audible. As you dress each model you may hear verbal cues like "That's hot!" or "Doesn't work!" These will help you design the best outfits for the most points. You'll also hear cues like "Hurry up!" which signal that you are running out of time.

    Go for Chains

You get extra points for sending out a chain of two or three models. You also get bonus points for sending out a chain of a particular style. Save time by building outfits on all your models, rather than building an outfit one model at a time. For example, try putting tops on all your models in one pass, then the bottoms, then footwear. Sometimes you may only be able to dress and send out one model. This is fine, but a chain is better. If you need to change a model's clothes, you don't need to remove the old item. Just drag the new item over the model and the game will automatically replace the old item.

    Use Power-Ups

There are several power-ups that can help you dress your models and get extra points. You get power-ups during the runway show as each outfit is rated. The shuffle power-up lets you refresh the clothing rack and get new pieces. The matching outfit power-up lets you automatically dress one model. The swap style power-up lets you change the style card for one of your models, very useful if you don't have any pieces that match that style. Some shows will also have accessories, which give you extra points.

    Consider Signature Outfits

Sometimes you'll see pictures of outfits in the back, left corner of the screen. When you send these outfits down the runway, you get extra points and unlock more pieces for future runway shows. Signature outfits are worthwhile but, use caution--finding all the necessary items on the rack could eat up valuable time.
