    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

In Florida, the lawyer's fees average $1,700 for a Chapter 7 and $350 or more for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. The court charges a $299 filing fee, and the state has mandatory credit counseling, which averages $100.

The fees range from $1,000.00 to $2,500.00 in Florida. Average is about $1,700.00 with cost. It's best to call more than one Attorney and get a fee quote. Make sure they are attorneys because there are paper prepares who will do it for less. But remember you get what you pay when using a paper preparer. They are not attorneys and will not be by your side when something goes wrong. www.KeithDCollier.com
