The Chevy Colorado is Chevrolet's popular mid-size pickup truck. The truck comes in several different models and the standard tire size depends on the model and package.
Standard
The standard two-wheel drive and 4x4 models for the Colorado in all three cab sizes come with P235/75R16 tires on 16" wheels.
Working trucks
Colorados equipped with the work truck commercial package use P215/70R16 tires. These trucks are primarily sold to businesses and fleets.
Off-road package
The famous Chevrolet Z-71 package outfits the Colorado with larger 17" wheels and P265/70R17 all-terrain tires. Z-71 trucks have a higher ride height and Z-71 decals.
Performance package
Starting with the 2009 model year, Chevrolet offered a V-8 engine for the Colorado in the ZQ-8 performance package. The lowered ZQ-8 rolls on P235/50R18 tires and only comes in two-wheel drive.
History
The tires sizes listed above are for the 2009 and 2010 model year Chevrolet Colorados. Older Colorados with 16" and 17" wheels will use the same sizes.
