Help answer this question below.

I just had a baby boy- it's been 1 week and the baby's father still hasn't seen the baby (due to issues w/his mother) and now some of my close guy friends want to visit. Is it bad for another man to see the baby before the father-should I make them wait?

    i doesnt matter. what does matter is that the father hasnt seen the baby yet, his mom better be dying, other than that, theres no excuse.

    I think its perfectly fine that your friends want to visit you and your baby. The baby's father has missed out a week with his son - he should feel terrible about it, not you. You and your kid deserve the love and pampering you get from those who care...

    First of all, don't feel bad, my baby's dad still hasn't seen him and he's six months old. I think it's fine for guy friends to visit, the baby's at an age where he's not going to question it. It could also help you to see that all guys aren't like that.

    What do you want to do? I don't know what these issues are with your boyfriend's mother, has she a problem with you/the baby or is she ill etc? Yes it would be nice if the father could see him first-but how long is this going to go on? I would have thought he would be biting at the bit to see the baby by now.Also, it's nice to have some company isn't it.

    Wow....you poor thing.
    Not to be critical or anything, but what kind of man goes off on a vacation after his child has been born, because of what his mommy says.
    It sounds like his n>+$ are missing.
    As to your feeling paranoid, the fault is not with you, it is with him and his mother.
